Candlelight Inn Bed and Breakfast has now been open since 2000. We are delighted with our guests and our new life. We are now far more familiar with the trails, restaurants, shops, sights and sounds of Vermont. It seems as though the world is coming to us! Many seasonal Vermont pictures are posted on our web site.
Autumn in Vermont is not to be missed. Nowhere in the world does one have the beauty of Vermont sugar maples backed by mountain vistas. Country fairs and flee markets await.
Spring is the value season in Vermont. Skiing ends sometime in Mid April. After that there are streams for white water rafting or kayaking. The snow is off the roads, so bikes are now another access to the beauties of spring in Vermont. New life begins on the local farms with green fields and lambing. Try your luck with fly fishing, guides are available to help you land a brook trout or two.
Summer activities include cycling, horseback riding, canoeing, sightseeing and more. Challenging mountain golf courses await. Our area is known for classical music in July and August, at neighboring Marlboro.
In winter we ski, ride snowmobiles, and snowshoe. Come enjoy a fire in your own room on a cold wintry night.
