Vermont in Spring

Early spring in Vermont has skiing until mid April. After which the ice melts and their is white water rafting. (We are content to simply observe and take a few pictures.) For us there are the lakes and streams for fishing. If you are willing and patient a warm rainy night in April may delight the naturalist in you with the spotted salamander migration.

Golf courses are open as are the gravel roads for cycling. The cows are out of the barns in pastures as well as the horses. Have some patience, if you are stopped for a moment to allow them to return to the barn for evening milking. It is all part of the Vermont way of life. It is part of why we are here.
