Balsam firs
This picture of our balsam fir trees was shot June 16, 2009. These trees are showing signs of new growth. The field can be seen from the rear of the house. The new growth will be trimmed, with a pruning knife, to create a full Christmas tree for December sales.

dining room
This is where we serve breakfast. There are two only tables, but since we have only three rooms it works out just fine. Expect a large country breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, coffee or tea and eggs and bacon or something that you can pour Vermont Maple Syrup on.

planting trees
We put in 1000 seedlings spring of 2003. They have been transplanted trimmed and are available for Christmas trees in December.

living room
This is the living room where guests gather for some tea and conversation. The blue stone behind the fire has a carving of a dragon by Peter O'Sullivan. The grandfather clock was a kit that I built and the picture to the left we picked up in China. If you do a 360 there should be something to delight you in this room.

Instalation.jpeg
As of June 24, 2002 our living-room has this site specific stone carving entitled "Journey." The artist, Peter O'Sullivan from Litchfield, Connecticut is shown on the date of the installation. Engraved in the circle are a Celtic dragon and a bird. We are very proud of the addition which complements our art collection and the house.
