Film scene
The Halifax room as a scene for a film.
The Candlelight B&B was contacted to provide a setting for a film, so with much furniture moving and some disruption we accommodated.

Sugar Maple trees in October
The trees in front of the house, display world class color in October.

Fall in Vermont
The colors are really breathtaking!

dining room
This is where we serve breakfast. There are two only tables, but since we have only three rooms it works out just fine. Expect a large country breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, coffee or tea and eggs and bacon or something that you can pour Vermont Maple Syrup on.

planting trees
We put in 1000 seadlings this spring, 2003. They will get started here before we will transplant them to the field behind the house.

living room
This is the living room where guests gather for some tea and conversation.

The blue stone behind the fire has a carving of a dragon by Peter O'Sullivan. The grandfather clock was a kit that I built and the picture to the left we picked up in China. If you do a 360 there should be something to delight you in this room.

Molly Stark Room
This is our downstairs room. Molly Stark would recognize the quilt and wood fireplace but would find the indoor plumbing, queensized bed and TV not of her centry.

Make yourself at home.

gametable
Tucked away in the living room under the stairway you can relax with a board game.

Glass kiln
Bill LeQuire heats up some glass in Readsboro, VT.

Mary Agnes
Mary Agnes, a local artisan signs her work in Readsboro.

Bennington Room

Installation
Instalation.jpeg
As of June 24, 2002 our living-room has this site specific stone carving entitled "Journey." The artist, Peter O'Sullivan from Litchfield, Connecticut is shown on the date of the installation. Engraved in the circle are a Celtic dragon and a bird. We are very proud of the addition which complements our art collection and the house.
