The Candlelight is nestled next to the Green Mountain Forest with plenty to do - trails for hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting and more. We are in a four season resort area with fine restaurants, shopping, crafts and outdoor activities. Our village is noted for its winery and pottery - two must see attractions. Spring and late fall are the value seasons. In spring, after the snow melts, lambing and maple sugaring are in progress. With the warmer weather, streams are high with white water-ideal for rafting and kayaking. Try your hand at angling. Guides are available at Orvis if you want to upgrade your skills.
Late fall after the leaf peepers have gone home, there are still the warm colors of the beech and maple leaves. As you hike along the many trails, enjoy views not possible in summer.
